Civil Air Patrol's Washington Wing has a variety of ongoing and annual training opportunities for adult and youth members!
WASHINGTON ALL MISSION ACADEMY at Camp Boucher regularly includes professional development, aerospace, leadership, emergency services skills training and more!

GROUND SEARCH AND RESCUE ACADEMY is conducted on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) property near Tacoma. Members experience a realistic training environment that combines teamwork and individual skills to become proficient in the ground team mission. The academy is conducted almost exclusively in the field environment, and the only prerequisite to attend is a valid GES qualification on your 101 Card!

Cascade Falcon ENCAMPMENT is one of the most worthwhile activities available to cadets. Encampment challenges our young members to develop self-discipline and teamwork while learning leadership skills, military bearing and broadening their understanding of aerospace.

Youth members with a special love for flying may be interested in Desert Eagle FLIGHT ACADEMY!
+ PRE-SOLO GLIDER students receive ground tow and aero tow instructional flights!
+ SOLO GLIDER students receive aero flights and solo flight time!
+ POWERED students receive approximately 10 hours of flight training!
