    • Master of Science in Geology and Doctorate in Environmental Geosciences from the University of Aix-Marseille III, Marseille - France, with research project in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and field research performed in the Amazon Basin, Brazil

    • Teaching since December 1989 at universities, colleges as a geologist, and at private Montessori schools as a foreign language instructor and a STEM specialist

    • Montessori certified for students 0 to 12 years old; worked in classrooms with students from 2 years old to 9th grade
