19 Nov / 75th Anniversary Banquet & Cadet Ball

Post date: Sep 27, 2016 9:22:1 PM

Help us celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Civil Air Patrol and celebrate and thank our veterans for serving in the military!

This is an opportunity for senior members to network with other senior members from across the wing. It's also a time to renew friendships with members you haven't seen for a while, and for cadets to see other cadets from other units. There will be a cadet ball after the banquet!

Washington Wing is hosting the 75th Anniversary Banquet and Cadet Ball on 19th Nov. at Joint Base Lewis McChord in The Club, Tacoma, Washington.

Deadline to register: 11 November (no exceptions)

Cadet Programs is also hosting their Fall Senior & Cadet Workshop on this same day!

As Fall draws near, it brings with it the exclusive opportunities of the season: celebrating CAP's 75 years of service and Washington Wing Cadets' contributions to their community through our annual Fall Workshop and Cadet Ball. Join us for exciting Senior and Cadet workshops, fun activities, and great food!

CADET WORKSHOP:

This is an excellent opportunity to make new friends within the Wing and rekindle past friendships. A variety of workshops to choose from will be offered with handpicked instructors to provide the most memorable experience. One enriching workshop is the notorious dance class. In the past, professional instructors have been hired to instruct cadets in basic dance technique. To showcase the variety of skills our Wing offers, we have decided to do things a little differently. A few of your fellow WAWG Cadets have stepped up to share their expertise in the subject. So, if you feel shy about your dance moves, fear no more. We will also be dedicating some time to a Cadet Commander's Call, Open CAC meeting, and social time.

Cadets are heavily encouraged to attend both the Workshop and the Cadet Ball, as both bring unique and eventful opportunities.

Workshops will include the spring and summer activities, both wing and National, as well as how to apply and improve chances for selection. Yes, Seniors, you can and should attend the National Cadet Special Activities. We’ll tell you how and why.
