Displaying documents on a webpage

How can you display an index or set of documents on a webpage?

There are a few ways, each shown below. Some work well on a large screen but not on a mobile device (phone). Some require editing the website to update the index. View these on both a computer and a phone to see how they compare.

It can be a collapsed list, like below. Displays well on computer, poorly on mobile. Requires editing the website to update the index, which is raw text.

Number Date Title OPR Prescribing Directive

F31 Oct-20 Unit Check Request FM S 173-1

F32 Oct-20 Deposit Advice FM S 173-1

F34 Jan-18 Bank Transfers FM S 173-1

It can be an uncollapsed list (regular text), like below. Displays well on computer, poorly on mobile. Requires editing the website to update the index, which is raw text.

etc.!

It can be an embedded document, like below. Displays OK on computer and poorly on mobile. Easy to update a document (should be stored on a WAWG Google Drive) without editing the website.

WAWG Forms (test index)

It can be an embedded folder (list of the documents in a shared folder). Displays well on computer and mobile. Easy since no index must be maintained, but we cannot modify what it shows - every file in the folder, listed alphabetically by name, with who last modified each.
