This page is to explain the process Washington Wing is using to decide which cadets are "Highly Recommended," also known as a "Greenlight," for a Cadet Special Activity (CSA)/National Cadet Special Activity (NCSA). You can find information on how slotting works on the NCSA page, which includes explaining how the points system works. A "Highly Recommend" adds 100 points to their slotting score for their application.
Those interested in receiving a "Highly Recommend" should fill out the Google form below. The WAWG/CP team will then review the applications and decide based on the applications, data that can be pulled from eServices, and any other information deemed appropriate by the WAWG/CP team, such as contacting people the applicant has worked with in the past. A large contributing factor is how much the applicant has given back to the program by staffing and teaching others at activities at all echelons.
The decision for who will receive a "Highly Recommend" will be made after CSA/NCSA applications close on 15 Jan 25, which is also the deadline for the below application.
