As of 1 Jan 2026, there are new rules about how many TLC-trained senior members each unit must have at all times, and how long a TLC training remains current. See those changes and the consequences of non-compliance here:
WAWG Cadet Programs will conduct its required quarterly review in the last two weeks of each calendar quarter.
Units are strongly encouraged to check their compliance frequently, and with that timeline in mind.
Q1 - Between 17-31 March
Q2 - Between 16-30 June
Q3 - Between 16-30 September
Q4 - Between 17-31 December
DCP Sends Reminder/Dashboard to All Units (beginning of last month of each quarter)
DCP Conducts Review and Records Findings (during last two weeks of each quarter)
DCP Sends message to non-compliant unit commanders with 30 day remediation deadline, and assigned mentor. (GP & WG CCs copied).
30 Days Later: DCP re-checks previously non-compliant units, sends report of those who have not remediated to WG/CC.
WG/CC determines next remediation steps (including potential unit operations/meeting pause), with 30 day deadline.
30 Days Later: Units which are not remediated are reported to the PCR/CC.
PCR/CC determines next steps.
Currency is maintained by completing any Training Leaders of Cadets course within the last 36 months. This includes:
TLC On-Demand (self-paced and online)
This course includes 10 online modules, expect to spend several hours or to spend time over multiple days.
TLC-Basic or TLC-Intermediate, in-person.
TLC-Basic or TLC-Intermediate, virtual in-residence (scheduled as a live online event)
TLC-Advanced (only available to Wing Directors or Cadet Programs and above)
